Trophies or other awards are presented to riders in accordance with their finish positions as described under SCORING. Grand Rapids BMX has adopted the policy of awarding the rider based on his/her finish regardless of proficiency level due to the fact that they are getting pointed based on the highest proficiency level represented in that race as stated in section D. Example: I a rookie rider is in a combined class with a novice rider, the rookie will be pointed based on the novice point structure instead of the rookie structure. D. All riders in combined classes will receive local points based on their finish positions in each moto and the main using the point chart appropriate to the highest proficiency level represented in the combined class.
